The medal has the faces and manes of Baron von Hunefeld and Hermann Köhl on the front, and on the back is the Bremen with the words "Allen gewalten zum trotz sich erhalten" that translate to "Despite the violent forces against us, we must overcome" Issued by the Bavarian mint and is so stated on the medal’s rim: "Bayern Staatsmunze (Bavarian State Mint), Silber 900 Fein".
