Description: Slide 8: one of a collection of lantern slides shown at Clondalkin branch library c 1910. Description given in booklet: We are now within sight of Jerusalem, and crossing the summit of the Hill of Evil Counsel, with the solitary tree which forms such a prominent feature in the landscape, we have the Holy City lying before us. In order to understand better the next few views, we shall throw on the screen a Plan of Jerusalem as it exists at the present day, which will enable us to get an idea of its extent and topography.
