Description: Slide 64: one of a collection of lantern slides shown at Clondalkin branch library c 1910. Description given in booklet: The Nazarenes, the women especially, share with the Bethlehemites, the reputation of being the most handsome and intelligent people in Palestine. This, by some, is said to be due to the Crusaders, some of which have settled down in these places, and of course left their traces in succeeding generations.
