Description: A glebe house and former country home. Built between 1790 and 1820, Ashfield House, later known as Brookvale, was the residence of the Baron of the Exchequer, Sir William Cusac Smith, in the early part of the 20th century. Between 1841 and 1913 it was home to the Tottenham family. Later Brooks of Brooks Thomas, LTD occupied the premises.
