Carved stone Celtic style memorial cross, c.1910. Deeply incised strapwork, coarsely carved chevrons to side, and lettering to ring head. Curved low retaining walls. This elaborately carved cross commemorates writer Katherine Tynan's father, whose dairy farm lay opposite. A strong example of the early twentieth-century Celtic Revival style. Inscription reads: In Memory Of Andrew Cullen Tynan Whitehall Clondalkin Died 7th September 1905en_IE
