Description: Slide 50: one of the latern slides shown at Clondalkin branch library c 1910 which had a printed description of the black and white slides. Below is description given in booklet that came with the slides; 50 - Aqueduct over the Cherith Going in the direction of Bethany, near Jericho, we cross the Valley of Cherith, where the prophet Elijah was fed by ravens, and where Achan was stoned, in earlier times when it was known as the valley of Achor, and pass by a ruined aqueduct through the arches of which we get a glimpse of the distant mountains.
