Artists impression of the new (1891) Spa Hotel Lucan in a pastoral setting with sheep, shepherd and patriotic flower beds in red white and blue with the Union Flag flying prominently from a flagpole. The postcard advertises the attraction of fishing on the Liffey by means of a circular inset and other country pursuits available are detailed on the back of the card which also feature an early telephone number 882. The card is signed by the mysterious "Jotter" whose moniker appeared on many cards of the early 1900's and unfortunately it is damaged.en_IE
