Description: A stylised Cadburys/Bournville Ltd reward card depicting the River Liffey and the principal towns through which it flows from source to Dublin City. Included are artists impressions of the Customs House, Howth and Ireland's Eye plus the source of the Liffey in the Kippure Mountains. Considerable detail appears on the back of the reward card mentioning Dublin Castle being the Lord Lieutenant's Official Residence and the National Library receiving copies of all books published in the United Kingdom. In addition it states that the "famous Book of Kells in the Irish language, the oldest and most famous book of ancient Britain" is deposited in the National Library. The manuscript Book of Kells has resided in Trinity College Dublin since the mid-19th Century and it is written in Latin based on a Vulgate form of script known as "insular majuscule".
