Postcard depicting The Hibernian Marine School Dublin founded 1776 attributed to James Malton (c.1760-1803) which is part of the collection of the National Library of Ireland. The NLI cites Maurice Craig in his book "James Malton's Dublin Views" (The Dolmen Press, Dublin, 1981) as stating that this finely detailed print is in fact a view of the approach to Dublin from the sea, as the Custom House can be seen in the far distance upriver on the right hand side of the print.en_IE
