dc.descriptionGerman 1913 Parabellum machine-gun. This was a variant of the Maxim gun and was used in aircraft. Made by the Deutsche Waffen und Munitions-fabriken, this 7.92mm air cooled gun could fire up to 750 rounds per minute. It weighed 9.80kg and was over a metre in length. It was in operational use from 1915 until the end of the war.en_IE
