Description: Photograph taken in 1972 by R. Fitzpatrick of a late 14th or 15th century wooden statue of St. Maelruain, the founder and abbot-bishop of the monastery of Tallaght, Co. Dublin preserved at Crossbeg near Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford according to Daphne D. Pochin Mould's book entitled 'The Irish Saints' p. 241. The Local Studies Section of the County Library Tallaght would welcome further information about this statue and the photographer R. Fitzpatrick.
