| Description: | Photograph of Commonwealth War Graves Commission maintained graves of four RAF pilots in the graveyard of Blessington Church of Ireland Co. Wicklow. Their names were Flight Sergeant S. Wright, Flight Sergeant F. Erdwin, Sergeant Pilot J. T. Lamb and Pilot Officer J. K. Hill. Their plane crashed in the mountains near Blessington in 1941 and they were interred with full military honours with a large attendance present. The dark patches on the gravestones are the result of a passing rain shower. |
