Description: South Dublin Village Walks - Tallaght Step 03: Tallaght's Cultural Quarter. Rua Red, the County Library and the Civic Theatre are located together to form Tallaght’s cultural quarter. Rua Red is a unique home for the creation and enjoyment of the arts. Along with partner organisations and tenants, the centre hosts a programme of events aimed at all members of the community locally, nationally and internationally. The centre was opened in 2009 by Mayor Marie Corr, after an investment of almost €10 million by South Dublin County Council.
