Description: Slide : one of a collection of lantern slides shown at Clondalkin branch library c 1910. Description given in booklet: The Ravine of the Kedron at Marsaba, where it enters the Dead Sea, gives an idea of the sterile and savage aspect of the Wilderness of Engedi. Its desolate and uninhabited appearance makes us glad to leave the shores of the appropriately-named Dead Sea.
