One of a series of interviews by Anne O'Gorman Weber, part of a joint project between Peamount Healthcare and South Dublin Libraries commemorating Peamount Hospital's centenary in 2014. Interview with Maurice McKiernan. He and his sister were patients in Peamount and at while still not 17, he went to work as a nursing orderly. What he learned through experience and practice with Sr. Kelly could not be taught in any curriculum today. He still keeps in touch with friends he made at Peamount.en_IE
