dc.descriptionMounted newspaper cutting from the Times: Lieutenant George Guy Finlay, Royal Irish Regiment, killed on July 14, was the second and only surviving son of Colonel Henry T. Finlay, D.L., of Corkagh, County Dublin, and was 26 years of age. He volunteered from the Malay States at the outbreak of the war, and obtained his commission in January, 1915. In May of the same year he joined his regiment at the front, and served with it until his death. His younger brother was killed in action at Aubers Ridge on May 9, 1915.en_US
