A visit from Percy (a pilot) who has flown over Cambrai. He expresses an admiration for German intelligence and tenacity, and their "wonderful army" Mentions a Col. Gregorie, and Col. Roche of 6th Bn. Also Aunt Ag. Offers sympathy on the death of Lieutenant-General Sir Stanley Maude who had recently died in Mesopotamia of cholera.
