Scott, 17th June, 1875, addressed from "19 Carleton Road, Tufnell Park, [North] London". The letter variously discusses the operation of the "Peat and Charcoal Company", trialling peat in England, peat extraction, as well an in-depth discussion of the Scott family history and Scotts Hall.
