dc.descriptionInterior leaves of an untitled, unlined, black leather bound notebook, with lined gilt edging surround on front cover. The handwritten entry on the verso and recto of the pages continues the description of the genealogy and history of the Scott family, mentioning some of the people and locations following; Sir John Scott, Prince of Castile, Duke of Guidnes, King Henry VIII of England, Anne Pympe, Sir Reginald Scott, and the Castle of Castile. The handwritten text in the notebook as a whole contains various ink-pen entries from a number of hands,covering the origin of the Scott family, the genealogy and heraldry associated with the family, along with some genealogical notes and questions, and letters in full on the same subjects.
