dc.descriptionDetached three-bay two-storey over raised basement former country house, c.1765, rebuilt in the twentieth century and now in use as a bar and restaurant. Projecting entrance porch with double flight entrance steps having cast-iron railings, full-height projection to rere. Rendered, ruled and lined walls with granite string course. uPVC windows with stone sills. Elaborate Ionic doorcase with timber panelled door. Replacement bracketed hipped slate roof with two rendered chimney stacks. Modern extension to south. Reputedly the childhood home of Samuel Beckett.en_IE
