Description: | Principal entrance to demesne, c.1775, with pair of channelled granite ashlar gate piers having Coade stone roundels to cap stones. Replacement sliding gate. Set in random rubble boundary wall, stretching from Vesey Bridge to former Lucan Parish School, of three to six metres in height, with 'Famine hole' to southern extreme. Pedestrian cast-iron gate with granite lintel set in wall at eastern extreme. |
