Description: | Detached two-bay single-storey with attic former gate lodge, c.1860, on an L-plan, with lean-to projection to rere. Roughcast rendered walls with square-headed window openings having granite sills, now blocked, and pair of blind arches to gable end. Projecting gabled timber porch around timber door. Pitched slate roof with two rendered chimney stacks. Rendered, ruled and lined screen wall with rusticated gate posts surmounted by eagles. Flanking pedestrian gateways with cast-iron gates. Cast-iron wall-mounted post box facing street. |
