Description: | Detached three-bay single-storey former gate lodge, c.1850, with gabled projecting open entrance porch. Now in use as an office for Stewart's Hospital. Smooth rendered walls with moulded string courses and base course to the north-east side elevation. Timber sash windows with moulded surrounds. Timber panelled door with rectangular overlight. Hipped slate roof with central rendered chimney stack. Flat lead-lined roof to rear. Later flat-roofed extension to the south-west. Set inside gateway with channelled rendered piers having elaborate caps. |
