Description: Oral history interview. Benny Myers, Age 81 and Edith Myers, Age 73, Tallaght. Subject: Recollections of a former caretaker of St. Maelruan's Church. Edith Roberts Myers is a native of Bunclody, Co. Wexford and Benny Myers is a lifelong resident of Tallaght who trace's his family's origins to Co. Limerick on his father's side and Co. Wexford on his mother's side. He lived in England at a young age, for a short time. On his return he worked as a gardener at Lord Fitzwilliam's estate in South Co. Dublin. This is now a golf course. He also delivered milk to Terenure village. He then became caretaker at St. Maelruan's Church, and took care of the war graves. He retired at the age of 65. The length of this recording is forty five minutes and thirty nine seconds.
