Dublin Brigade Officer’s Cap Badge in white metal. Cap badge in white metal, being the officers’ version, bearing the legend "Drong Ath Cliath" meaning "Dublin Brigade". Designed by Eoin MacNeill, founding member and chairman of the Irish Volunteers, in 1913. The design lives on today as the cap badge of the Irish Defence Forces with "Oglaigh Na hEireann" replacing the Dublin Brigade inscription.en_IE
