dc.descriptionIn November 1913, the Local Government Board held a public inquiry into the housing of the working classes in Dublin City . The Commissioners examined 76 witnesses in seventeen days, and visited the tenements. The result was this report which graphically illustrates, with photographs and descriptions, the poverty and dereliction then common in many parts of Dublin.en_IE
