Description: Letters from Constable Timothy Brennan to various Irish RIC barracks stating his unease at being required to accompany British Army patrols. Reply from Lucan RIC Barracks and their reply indicating the agreement of Lucan RIC and neighbouring barracks to their disarmament. Also a Newspaper cutting annoucing the dismissal of Timothy Brennan for refusing to retract pamphlets issued by him re. the disarmament of the RIC. Letter of reference for Timothy Brennan dated 29/3/1922 from Carlow Brigade HQ IRA and signed Liam Staic. It states that Brennan had done "Nothing detrimental to the cause"
