Description:	Victory medal,British War Medal and 1914-15 Star issued to Lieutenant Robert Alexander Finlay, 5th Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers who died on 09/05/1915, aged 22 at the battle of Aubers Ridge. He was the younger surviving son of Colonel Henry F Finlay, D.L., of Corkagh, Clondalkin, County Dublin. He joined the 5th Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers in June, 1913, and was attached to the 1st Battalion Royal Irish Rifles on March 18th, 1915.
