Description: Looseleaf, lined paper with a bold, printed "G" on the top left, "Name" in same column, "Date" in second column. Handwritten using a fountain pen and reads "Lt. Col. Hopton Bassett Scott served with the 9th Regiment in the Crimea from Dec 1854 until after the fall of Sevastopol and was present at the attacks on the 18th of June and the 8th of September - (Copy inscription from medal box sent to GBS [no closing bracket].
