Title:	Handwritten letter in pencil on cream paper, possibly by John Davie Scott to his Mother during WW1, but missing first page of letter with salutation. Discusses various military and neighbourhood subjects.

Description:	Handwritten letter in pencil on cream paper, possibly in the hand of John Davie Scott, which would date roughly to the years of World War I (WWI). The letter appears to be missing the first page which carried the salutation and date, etc.. It mentions a recreation match of rugby against the Royal Iniskillings, and mentions the soccer team that played the Irish Fusiliers. He thanks the recipient for supplies sent to him and thanks "May" for her last letter also. Possibly from John Davie to his Mother, Mrs Scott, who lived in the family home, Locksley, Shankill, Co. Dublin. The letter mentions a "corpse factory scandal" as well as leaving uninoculated civilians behind to infect a population. It moves on to discussing a "Quinn exodus" from a neighbourhood, which is possibly the neighbourhood of John Davie Scott's mother, Mrs Scott, who lived in the family home, Locksley, Shankill, Co. Dublin.
