Description: Oral history interview. Maurice Kelly, better known as Sonny, was born in 1938 and grew up in Bohernabreena. His father worked at a nearby quarry and Sonney tells some very interesting stories about his days there. Sonny joined the workforce at Urney Chocolates at the age of 17 and worked ther until 1981. Factory life during these decades is clearly described in all its variety, as Sonney moved between different departments. Sports played a major role in his participation in the social life of the factory and he says it was a great place to work. Sonny recalls many of the staff by name and later discusses life in Walkinstown where he moved with his wife in 1962. The length of this recording is fifty three minutes and twenty nine seconds.
