Description: | Detached single-storey gable-fronted blacksmith's forge, built 1855, now disused. Limestone rubble walls with a smooth-stone horseshoe-shaped opening housing a two-leaf timber tongue and groove door. Date inscription to top of this surround. To north-east elevation, a timber tongue and groove door with a timber frame and lintel and a small timber casement window, both with brick dressings. Pitched slate timber-framed roof with a brick chimney stack to the rere gable end. Pair of monolithic granite gate posts to boundary wall. |
