Description: Oral history interview. Mary Pyle, Age 70, Rathmines. Subject: Recollections of the wife of a foreign correspondent with The Irish Times. Mary Burrell is a native of Limerick where her father was headmaster of Villiers School, Henry Street. She attended Trinity College, where one of her lecturers was Dr Plyle, her future father-in-law. Her husband, Fergus Pyle became a renowned correspondent for The Irish Times. She recalls accompanying her father as he worked as a foreign correspondent in Northern Ireland and in France. The length of this recording is forty one minutes and forty three seconds.
