Christopher Mariorty is a naturalist and fisheries expert, and author of many Irish nature books. In this recording he speaks about his own farming background, in West Kerry and discusses his profession as a fisheries scientist and his work on the rivers and lakes of Ireland. He also discusses the inspiration for his writing, and puts on record the support and help of his wife. The length of this recording is one hour, three minutes and thirty three seconds.
