In this recording Therese Ridge speaks about her childhood, remembering inner city Dublin life in the fifties. She first became involved in politics in 1985 and she was elected a councillor in Clondalkin. She speaks about her brief as a County Councillor and her passion for the work. She recalls the changes and the development in Clondalkin from its time as a village to what is today a large town. The length of this recording is fifty minutes and forty four seconds. |
