In this second recording Joe Williams talks about his experiences in the Army, where he attained the rank of Corporal and worked in logistics for NATO. In the headquarters of the Northern Army Group the staff was made up of people of many nationalities. He speaks about the world crisis in 1962. Joe also speaks about his work after leaving the Army in the distribution services for the food industry. He recalls that he ran for a seat on Dublin County Council in 1979 and he has enjoyed writing very much during his varied life. The length of this recording is fifty two minutes and twelve seconds.
